Case Western Reserve Mock Trial Team
The Ault Mock Trial Team at Case Western Reserve University School of Law cordially invites you to serve as a judge during one or more rounds at its annual fall mock trial competition, the Case Classic. The competition will be held November 6-8th, 2026 at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center (1200 Ontario St., Cleveland, Ohio 44113).
This year's Case Classic problem is a criminal case involving an alleged theft of drugs from nursing home patients by a former director of nursing. We are seeking attorney volunteers to serve as judges for the following rounds:
Round 1: Friday, November 6: 5:30PM-9:00PM
Round 2: Saturday, November 7: 8:30AM-12:00PM
Round 3: Saturday, November 7: 1:30PM-5:00PM
Below is a link to a form, where you can indicate whether you would like to judge during the Case Classic and select the time slot(s) during which you would like to volunteer. Even if you can only judge one or two slots, we would greatly appreciate your help! For the competition to be successful, we need as many judges as possible. The students greatly value the opportunity to compete in front of seasoned attorneys. In our experience, most judges are impressed with the caliber of competition and enjoy interacting with the students. Meals will be provided before/after the rounds.
